Steps-Ahead Process

The program is divided in two steps. 

1. Introduction to the recruiting process/Educational Goals 9th and 10th grades

2. NCAA Eligibility Center Educational requirements/SAT and ACT standardized test.  Presentation of Student Athletes for recruiting and scholarship opportunities 11th and 12th grades.

There is a consultation fee of $100 which is non-refundable.

Upon consultation the follow items will be needed:

1. Unofficial school transcript

2. Current school attendance report

3. Students with documented disabilities an IEP report

4. Junior College transfers need proof of graduation

Steps-Ahead is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization.  Athletes skills are not enough to insure success in life.  There is about 1% of athletes that will perform at the professional level.  THAT IS WHY STEPS-AHEAD IS HERE!!!!!!!!!!  We assist high school and junior college athletes in educational development to position them for scholarship opportunities.  Steps-Ahead provides information specifically designed to meet each individual's need for matriculation to college.  Our goal is for every student-athlete to succeed academically and athletically at the college level.  From our inception we have expanded and broadened our scope to satisfy the ever changing requirements of the the NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) and NAIA (National Association of Inter-Collegiate Athletics) governing bodies.
